We proudly present our Activities Commitee for 2018 - 2019

President - Marie Ger

Hey guys🤗 I'm the president of the Activities Committee. I recently moved here & am studying Psychology at Leiden University ✨ I know that sometimes it can be quite hard to be away from home so as part of the Activities Committee I want to plan fun days or evenings to take your mind off of stuff and make you feel comfortable and welcome 🌸✨I love seeing the world and travel to different places 🌍 hanging out with my friends and cuddling my dog 🐶 If you ever see me around, just come up and talk to me. Looking forward to meeting you at one of our activities!

Secretary - Pauline van Winden

Hello! I'm a 3rd year bachelor of Psychology student. Although born in the Hague, I have lived internationally my entire life. This experience has only further strengthened my love for traveling and meeting new people from all around the world. My other hobbies include going to music festivals, playing sports and the occasional shopping / wine drinking ✨ Really excited to start working together with this committee, and all of you!

Treasurer - Sophia Dittmar

Hey guys! I'm a first year Psychology student from Germany. I love good food, traveling, dancing and disappearing into a good book. Since I've been an exchange student myself for 10 months and I'm an international student I know what it feels like to be new to a city or country. That is one reason why I joined the Activities Committee.

I want to help new students to find their way around Leiden, getting to know diverse and interesting people and maybe even help them to cope with their culture shock (like almost dying while taking their bike for the first time 😉). I can't wait to meet all of you during our fun activities and I'm looking forward to sharing a drink or two with y'all.

Promotions Officer - Maisha Alam

Hello! To the surprise of many, I'm from Finland (it's real, don't start with me). I take the saying “I rather die trying than live wondering” pretty seriously, especially when it comes to eating things I’m most likely allergic to. Apparently, being social is a skill, so I'll add that here too. But no really, do come say hi, I’ll probably tell you what my name means in Swahili.I’ll be putting my creative effort to the Activities Committee, and hope that you guys will create lots of memories in this windy city!
